Resume for Whitham D. Reeve, Principal Summary: Whitham D. Reeve formed Reeve Engineers in 1978. He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Alaska and Washington and the author of numerous books and articles on the practical aspects of telecommunications engineering. He was born in Anchorage, AK USA and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and has extensive graduate work in advanced communications engineering and engineering management. In addition to providing engineering services to Competitive and Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers and Interexchange Carriers and consulting services to telecommunications equipment manufacturers, Mr. Reeve serves as the engineer of record for several rural Alaskan local exchange carriers, where he designs, installs and tests telecommunication systems and components of all types. He has been heavily involved with a diverse number of projects including deployment of Signaling System No. 7, BETRS, cellular and point-to-point microwave radio systems, optical fiber transmission and SONET ring networks, reliable networks for air traffic control, earth grounding system design, and the effects of nuclear blasts on telecommunication and power systems.
